SoSerious asked:
There are a lot of American cars from the 40s and 50s in Cuba that are still running. Presumably they would have to be brought up to code for emissions, safety, etc. Do you think this would be worthwhile as a business opportunity?

I know I’m not gonna get a 72 GTO in good condition for $200 but I’m looking for a project car, just about any 60s or early 70s. I need it to be in decent condition even though its a project car. Thanks for any help.

Brandon C asked: I am finally buying a house with a garage and the second thing i am going to do (after renovating the house) is restore a classic car (specifically the 1967 Shelby GT500) from scratch. But here is the problem i know pretty close to nothing except for how to change the brakes. I was wondering if maybe there was a class or some books to teach me what i need to know.
I am a fast learner and am able to teach myself difficult things so dont worry about the books or classes being difficult.
i have people that could help me but i dont want to be a burden on them or have to wait for them to work on the car.
please help.

b down asked: The car runs fine when I leave work, I drive for about 30 minutes. I stop at the store, I get back in the car and start her up.
When I press on the gas, she barely has any acceleration. I have to stick the pedal all the way to the floor and then she moves slowly. Very sluggish. It’s almost like the compression is gone.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

I know there’s a word for it because it was on America’s Next Top Model but I don’t remember what season. It was the one where they were forced to don corsets and vintage clothes and pose on a vintage car!

These cars are probably equal in size and performance but totally different in shape and appearance.
